Classic rock riffs, swirling drums, monstrous hooks, and undeniably catchy choruses... hints of old school progressive rock mixed in with modern alternative flourishes... touches of classical influence as swelling strings intersect with sonic adrenaline rushes. It's indeed a fusion unlike any other, marking the latest chapter in the continuous evolution of Skillet, whose moniker couldn't be more fitting for their explosive new Lava/Atlantic Records release, Comatose.
The project follows Skillet's 2004 Lava/Atlantic debut, Collide, which launched the group into the public eye with the single "Savior" (the #2 most added at CMJ's "Loud Rock and Crucial Spins" panel the first week out), and garnered the quartet a prestigious Grammy Award nomination. Collide went on to become their best-selling project to date, with over 200,000 units sold, while the band played some 200 dates a year - including tours with the likes of Saliva, Shinedown and Finger Eleven, Three Days Grace - in the process becoming one of the hardest working, heaviest rocking, and most broadly appealing acts of its generation. From Flames Site "This website is designed to disciple from a distance. So often I realize that a CD and a concert is not enough to deposit into my audience the amount of information that is necessary to make a solid disciple. My goal for this website is to humbly make mention of historic Christian truths and perspectives that may not otherwise be taught. The majority of information can be found on in the other pages of this website like sermons, recommended books and links. I urge you to take advantage of the sermons, books, and websites for further learning and spiritual growth. One Love, FLAME" Check it out at www.flame314.com |

Get your copy of the new album...check it out at ReachRecords.com... "Kingdom People, to me, is a look into the practical side of walking out our Christian faith. From a testimonial and very introspective view, I desire to encourage and challenge us, through my own experiences and struggles which alot of believers also struggle with, to stand firm in our faith. I pray this album becomes more than another disc in your hip hop collection, but a tool that will be utilized fully by the Lord!" With roots down in Houston, TX, Tedashii brings a distinct flavor you won't find anywhere else. Southern bangers like "Houston We Have a Problem", and introspective tracks like "This Song's For You", Kingdom People is an album that hits from all angles. Featuring production by Lecrae, Tony Stone, J.R., Mac, and others, plus guest spots by Flame, Lecrae, Trip Lee, J.R., Cam, and others, you want to make sure that you have copy in rotation. |
